Ten Mile Canyon Recreational Path

Client:Summit County Government

This project is located at the intersection on I-70 and Hwy 91 at Copper Mountain. The project was built to connect the existing bike path that goes from Frisco, CO to the bike path that goes over Vail Pass, as well as the start of a master plan that would extend the bike path system to Leadville, CO.

This section of path re-routes users to the eastside of Ten Mile Creek (behind the Copper Conoco Station) instead of the old route which had users on the frontage road in front of the Conoco Station. Users can either head towards Leadville which will eventually end about 1.5 miles at Hwy 91, or can turn at the half way point and head towards the Vail Pass bike path.
